When a person so iconic they become part of the interior
For K.E.V.A. Sofia and Daniel Bachorski, we created two fully customized human statues based on the real people they represent. The idea is simple, but the result is anything but ordinary: the person becomes an advertising element, an interior feature and a natural photo opportunity for customers.
The process starts with 3D scanning the face and body in a pose selected by the client. The scanned model is then refined and stylized, with the facial features and body contours carefully emphasized, while an internal structural frame is added for strength and stability.
The statues are produced from PETG, assembled and finished to create a smooth surface before being coated with industrial polyurethane paints. The faces are hand-painted and hand-makeup finished, then protected with a UV-resistant lacquer.
The most delicate part is the face. Both the modelling and hand painting need to capture enough of the original person’s features to make the statue immediately recognizable.
And the best part? Seeing the client’s reaction when they meet their statue for the first time.
Production time per statue: 45 days.
